Mother’s Day is a special time to pause and recognise the incredible role mothers, grandmothers, carers, and mother figures play in the lives of children every single day.

Across Australia, families come together on Mother’s Day to celebrate the love, patience, support, and care that mums provide so naturally.

Each year we have a photo booth to capture happy Mothers Day moments along with other special occasions to.

From the early morning cuddles and school lunches to bedtime stories and words of encouragement, mothers help shape the confidence, wellbeing, and happiness of their children in countless ways.

At Montessori Gold Coast childcare centre located in Mudgeeraba, we see firsthand the important connection between children and their families. A child’s sense of security, belonging, and confidence often begins with the love and guidance they receive at home.

Mother’s Day gives us a wonderful opportunity to acknowledge and thank the mums and carers who work tirelessly to nurture and support their little ones.

Throughout the week, our children have been busy creating special Mother’s Day gifts, artwork, and heartfelt surprises to share with the important women in their lives. These small handmade treasures often become cherished memories, reflecting the creativity, love, and joy that children express so naturally.

Mother’s Day is also a reminder that every family is unique. Some children may celebrate mums, grandmothers, stepmums, foster carers, aunties, or other special people who play a loving role in their lives.

What matters most is celebrating the care, kindness, and connection that help children feel safe and supported.
